Mary McClata Williard was born on 19 September 1877 in Lykens Township, Dauphin Co., PA, near Erdman. She was the daughter ofJonathan C. Williard and Elmira Elizabeth (Myhia) Klinger. Mary McClata Williard was baptized on 22 December 1877 in Zion (Klinger's) Lutheran Church, Erdman, Dauphin Co., PA, sponsor: Caty Martz. She married Theodore Klinger, son of Francis (Frank) Klinger and Harriet Ann Clark Troutman, on 15 November 1893 in Hegins, Schuylkill Co., PA, by Irvin B. Ritten, Minister of the Gospel. (Copy of Marriage License, No. 498). She died of a strangulated hernia on 24 Apr 1942 at the Harrisbug Hospital in Harrisburg, PA. Mary McClata Williard was buried on 27 April 1942 in St. John's (Hill) Lutheran Church Cemetery, near Berrysburg, Dauphin Co., PA.
